Alternatives to Liposuction

Liposuction which is the most common invasive fat removal surgery can be performed almost everywhere these days. Excess fat cells can be extracted with the help of liposuction if the candidates are considered eligible. Since liposuction is an invasive cosmetic procedure, not all people may want to undergo it because of possible risks. There are also non-invasive alternatives to liposuction. For example, coolsculpting is one of the most preferred non-invasive fat removal procedures in the cosmetic world.

Coolsculpting is actually the most famous fat removal method because it is not only performed in aesthetic clinics or capable hospitals but can also be performed at home. There are portable coolsculpting machines that allow people to perform their own fat removal job at home.

During the coolsculpting procedure, your excess fat cells are exposed to heat below zero and aimed to be burned by freezing. Around 1 liter of fat can be displaced with coolsculpting in a single session. Coolsculpting is not like invasive fat removal surgery but there may be little incisions depending on the doctor’s choices.

Laser fat removal or laser liposuction is one of the most common fat removal procedures on the market as well. The excess fat cells are shot with laser beams. The procedure is similar to coolsculpting in terms of the displaced fat cells extraction style. The displaced excess fat cells remain in the body for some time and leave the body slowly.

Both coolsculpting and laser fat removal are popular among people who are not okay with the classic invasive liposuction procedure. However, both of the procedures do not involve too much fat extraction because they can’t penetrate through stubborn fat cell build-ups under the skin. They are quite safer than invasive liposuction, though.
